Since the release of the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, there has been uncertainty around who can apply, when and how. Keep reading to receive the latest FAFSA announcements and explore resources from Arizona, Florida and the Federal Student Aid office.

National FAFSA resources

Federal FAFSA completion deadline:

The FAFSA form must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central time (CT) on June 30, 2025. Any corrections or updates must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CT on Sept. 14, 2025.

Arizona FAFSA resources

Arizona FAFSA completion deadline:

Federal Student Aid recommends students contact the financial aid office at the college or career school they plan to attend for information on available state aid and deadlines. Additional forms may be required. 

Arizona FAFSA Challenge - School leaders can sign up for the Arizona Board of Regents’ informational FAFSA webinars 

Arizona Board of Regents' FAFSA Updates webpage provides the most up-to-date FAFSA resources and workshops, technical FAFSA issues, and pro tips to assist with overcoming some of the known technical glitches with the FAFSA application.

College Ready AZ offers resources to plan for college at Arizona's public universities. 

  • For high school students: The Arizona Cactus League, the Arizona Board of Regents and Ask Benji are teaming up to encourage college-bound Arizona high school seniors to fill out the FAFSA form. Students can complete the FAFSA and receive four free Arizona Cactus League spring training tickets to a baseball game this season. 
  • For high schools and districts: Arizona College Connect is an innovative FAFSA database that provides authorized high school and district personnel with their student-level FAFSA data. 

Ask Benji - A free, 24/7 FAFSA support to help Arizona families fill out the FAFSA and access thousands of dollars of grants, loans, and scholarships to help pay for education after high school. 

2024-2025 Better FAFSA Resource Hub - Arizona Board of Regents and Arizona College Access Network (AzCAN) lists training webinars, toolkits, alerts and more.

Education Forward Arizona FAFSA Resource Hub - Education Forward Arizona lists FAFSA trainings, webinars, forms, updates and alerts.

Florida FAFSA resources 

Florida FAFSA completion deadline:

Submit your FAFSA application by May 15, 2024 (date processed). For all other aid, students can check with the financial aid office at the college or career school they plan to attend. Additional forms may be required. 

Florida FAFSA Challenge - Florida College Access Network (FCAN) started the Florida FAFSA Challenge in 2015 to encourage all Florida schools and districts to increase FAFSA completion by 5 percentage points over the previous year.  

The Florida FAFSA Challenge provides schools and communities with free resources, promotional materials and updates on the latest FAFSA information. 

FCAN FAFSA resources - For Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Week of Action (April 15-19), FCAN compiled various resources and and Florida-based events.

LEAP Tampa Bay’s FAFSA comprehensive guide, workshops and webinars - Explore LEAP Tampa Bay’s comprehensive FAFSA guide that answers commonly asked questions and provides key dates. LEAP also offers workshops and webinars for parents and students with available professionals to assist with FAFSA form completion. 

Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA) - The FASFAA provides a list of resources for families and students including access to FAFSA completion events, information on how to avoid financial aid and scholarship scams, and a variety of scorecards and calculators to compare colleges.
