
Grants for Organizations:
Helios Education Foundation funding is by invitation only. All organizations receiving funding must meet the following criteria:
- Be a group which provides instruction to the public on subjects useful and beneficial to the community (e.g. cultural organization or community-based organization).
- Be an education support organization (e.g., Local Education Funds, reform support organizations or other education-related intermediaries); or
- Be an educational organization that provides instruction, training or improvements to individual capabilities (e.g. school, college or university); or
- Provide services or programs within Arizona and/or Florida; and
- Be a qualified 501(c)(3) organization or a public entity (e.g., city government, public school district, etc.) and be in operation for at least two fiscal years.
Helios does NOT fund the following:
- Capital projects
- Support for general operating funds, teacher recruitment, professional development or classroom materials, unless related to a specific program or initiative to be funded
Student Scholarships:
Helios Education Foundation partners with educational institutions and other organizations in Arizona and Florida to fund scholarships. We do not collect, accept or fund scholarship applications directly.

We encourage all students seeking financial assistance to fill out the FAFSA Form annually and explore scholarship opportunities provided by their college or university.
