As part of the America’s Promise Alliance 2013 Community Grad Nation Summit Series, the summit addressed the Five Promises which are fundamental resources children need to thrive and succeed – caring adults, safe places, a healthy start, effective education and opportunities to help others. Overall, the series will hold 100 summits across the country in the next three years starting with 15 summits this year.
