Description: The Arizona ACT Pilot -- Year Two project follows up on the success of the 2009 administration of the ACT college entrance exam to approximately 12,000 high school juniors in eight Arizona school districts. In 2010 the ACT exam will be given to approximately 19,000 juniors in nine districts and one charter school in Arizona. The purpose of the ACT pilot is to evaluate the college readiness of Arizona high school juniors compared to their peers outside of Arizona and to serve as a pilot for possible statewide implementation of a college entrance exam.
